Description
Interpump Hypress 2 wire 2SN hydraulic hose suitable for a wide range of applications in industry.
3/16" up to 2" bore sizes and working pressure range 80 to 415 bar.
Suitable for mineral and biological oils, glicol-water based fluids, water and other lubricants.
The internal of the hose is synthetic rubber; the cover is a smooth anti-abrasive synthetic rubber which is resistant to oils, fuels and atmospheric conditions and the reinforcement is 2 high tensile steel wire braids.
Hose type TFD2022 has a smooth cover and type TFD0022 has a wrapped cover. The advantage of the smooth cover is that is has less abrasion resistance and is easier to feed into channels.
This hose can be used with a "no-skive" ferrule. Skiving is a process whereby a layer of rubber has to be removed from the outer cover of the hose before the fitting can be swaged on. The advantage of the no-skive ferrule is that it saves time by eliminating one process during hose assembly manufacture.
Nov 2023 - TFD0022 up to 1" with wrapped cover is being phased out and replaced with TFD2022 with a smooth cover. The performance and swage dimensions for both types are the same. Please contact us for details of swaging dimensions.
The maximum working pressure shown in the table below is with a 4:1 safety factor - which means that the burst pressure is 4 x the figure shown.
